Cardiologists and allied professionals who are working in cardiac arrhythmia field are invited to participate in this event.

Learning Objectives

  • Arrhythmia issues in general cardiology practice
  • Improvement in understanding of implantable arrhythmia devices
  • Individualized programming of ICDs and CRTs
  • Review and update of curative ablative electrophysiology
 

The 6th International Winter Arrhythmia School is co-sponsored by the Heart Rhythm Society.

The 5th International Winter Arrhythmia School event was an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of the Certification program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. It was approved by the University of Toronto.

The Continuing Education Office, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto designated the 5th International Winter Arrhythmia School an education activity for a maximum of 15.5 Category 1 Credits towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. As a result of a reciprocal agreement between the EACCME and the AMA, European registrants claimed AMA Category 1 as equivalent.

Similar accreditation for the 6th International Winter Arrhythmia School is pending.
